ART OF THIS is a creative project that was started in July 2005 by four multi-media artists working in Minneapolis, MN.
Our Mission is to curate socially relevant, new and experimental artworks on an on-going basis. The gallery is also available for forums of community participation and discussion about art’s interaction with society.
Although we have a commitment to program new media, installation and experimental artwork, artistic direction is at the discretion of member-artists that manage and maintain AOT only.
We are interested in maintaining an artist-run space for experimental and challenging artwork, showing member artists, and collaborating with other experimental artists or artist groups.
Because of the conceptual, live, and experimental nature of the art shown at AOT, art sales are not able to support rent payment and administrative costs. We aim to generate funds by private donation, event sponsorship, renting the gallery for events/parties, and some specialised grant opportunities.
Artists interested in showing artwork should visit the submissions page.
